There is a mature woodland garden, heated swimming pool, tennis court, croquet and a bar/games studio with table tennis and darts. Cholderton has a village hall and farm shop and is close to Stonehenge, Salisbury, Winchester and Stockbridge.

At The Old Rectory, we go to great lengths to ensure you have a truly wonderful experience. The house is situated in a rural corner of Wiltshire, offering peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. When you arrive we are sure you will want to dive straight into the heated swimming pool (available April-September). Perhaps you will challenge your friends and family to a game of tennis on your private court? Or try your hand at darts, croquet or table tennis? Even on wintry days, you can enjoy board games and long chats by the fire. There is plenty of entertainment for all ages.

We welcome people of all ages and their pets. There is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the large grounds, spacious clean bright rooms, and delightful social areas where everyone can get together. Enjoy group dining in the stunning Orangery, rustle up a meal in the large farmhouse-style kitchen or on the barbeque, soak up the sunshine whilst lounging in the garden or get competitive with the range of outdoor sports available. ​​​​

Cholderton is perfectly positioned to provide easy access within a 20-minute drive to Salisbury city centre and all its amenities including shopping, leisure and cultural sites: * Salisbury Cathedral * Old Sarum * Stonehenge (13 minute drive) * Wilton House The surrounding countryside offers plenty of opportunities for exploring nature. There are endless opportunities for walking enthusiasts and cyclists. There are numerous bridlepaths including Monarch's Way national trail. All these details are provided in your welcome pack. Cholderton itself has a rare breeds farm with lots of activities for young children. Paultons Park / Peppa Pig world is within an hours drive. The area is renowned for its forest sporting activities, and the New Forest National Park and the famous Dorset Jurassic Coastline are just under an hour's drive away. The area is centrally located to offer easy travel options to Southampton, Winchester, Stockbridge, Bath and Bristol, as well as a direct train link to London Waterloo from Grately or Salisbury.
